Dear Representative Woolsey:
My name is Hunter Straub, and I am a 15-year-old sophomore at Windsor High School. I am writing this letter to bring to your attention the viewpoint on the Death Penalty of someone who is unable to vote on it.
I personally believe that the Death Penalty should be abolished. I believe this because of the financial burden it causes. The time and money spent could instead be used to build more jails, where those sentenced to death could live out the rest of their lives. This would be a huge help financially in the long run. The cost of building a jail is much less than the amount of money used due to sentencing an individual to death.
Thank you for your time reading this letter. I can be reached at [email protected].
Sincerely,
Hunter Straub
